Celebrate Willie Nelson

At 42 I've learned this life is one big lesson. It's humbling and sometimes hard to navigate. Every day we lose another loved one and we learn another lesson. It makes me value our treasures that we have in life. People who have graced this earth with a special talent or message. Willie Nelson is one of those people. The passion he sings his songs and the artists he's collaborated with is unrivaled. From Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings to Snoop Dogg he never stops performing.

At 85 we have no idea how long my man Willie will continue. But, as I hear Highwayman in the background I hope it's not for a long time. I want to truly appreciate him, but can I?


I'm now 44 years old and reading my draft for the first time in a while. How quickly time flies. But, my man Willie Nelson is still alive! I fucking love Willie! I think of him saying, "You know Snoopy a little while back I had one of those, carpal tunnel operations". Willie not afraid to fuck with Snoop because he knows he doesn't give a fuck what color Snoop is. Merging the generations with the true people. Everyone should know that most people don't hate people because of their color. But, media loves sensationalism so there we go. 

Let's celebrate this national treasure while we still have him. Born in 1933! Thank you Willie!
